I'm a director of the Music Producers Guild (UK) which represents the interests of record producers, recording engineers, mixers, re-mixers and anyone involved in the production of recorded music.
As well as regular events throughout the year, the MPG organises its awards event in February, with awards being presented for a variety of achievements, including Producer of the Year, Recording Engineer of the Year, Best UK Album, Single and Live Album, Best Studio, etc.
Recent award winners include Bernard Butler, Paul Epworth, Cenzo Townshend, Paul Savage, Mark Rankin, Brian Eno, Calvin Harris and Chris Blackwell
